This immersive 14-day training is much more than learning how to work with Kambô. It is a deep journey into the medicine, the body, the science, the energy and the mystery that surrounds this powerful practice.
Conducted in English, with support available in French and Dutch, the training gives you the knowledge, practical experience and confidence needed to begin your own safe and responsible Kambô practice.
Led by Esther Kaijim, Senior Master Practitioner and experienced international teacher, the training is shaped by her deeply personal and holistic approach, developed through many years of working with Kambô, teaching practitioners and holding ceremonies around the world.
Throughout the two weeks, we explore Kambô from many perspectives: physical, scientific, energetic, emotional, mystical and spiritual. Ancient indigenous wisdom is woven together with contemporary Western knowledge, while always honouring the origins and spirit of the medicine.
Safety is at the heart of everything we do. You will gain a thorough understanding of contraindications, precautions, first aid and responsible practice, alongside extensive hands-on experience.
But some of the most valuable learning happens beyond protocols and theory. Real-life stories, unusual cases, personal experiences and insights gathered from years of practice bring the teachings to life and prepare you for the reality of working with people as individuals rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach.
The groups are intentionally kept small, allowing for personal attention, genuine connection and space for every student to grow at their own pace. Over these intensive 14 days, something special often happens: a close-knit community forms, and the bonds created can extend far beyond the training itself.
You leave not only with knowledge and practical skills, but with a deeper understanding of Kambô, of yourself, and of what it truly means to hold space for another person.
Accommodations
This peaceful house is set in a clearing in the middle of around 30 hectares of woodland with a beautiful pond of over one hectare.
The house is oriented North/South, which gives it excellent sunshine thanks to its large windows and glass doors.
During the training, accommodations will be shared. Please bring your own bedlinen for a single bed 90×200 and 2 towels. The meals will be mostly plant based and lovingly prepared using locally sourced organic ingredients when possible.
